INDIA, Post-Mauryan (Deccan). Uncertain. Circa 1st-2nd centuries. Unit (Lead, 15 mm, 2.00 g, 9 h), probably struck in Wai, a town situated in the middle between Kolhapur and Junnar. Lion to right with upraised tail; above, circle and traces of legend. Rev. Bow with arrow flanked by crescent-shaped ornaments; all within pelleted square. B.U. Some stress marks and with light deposits, otherwise, very fine.
