THRACE. Ainos. Circa 372/1-370/69 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 15.64 g, 12 h). Head of Hermes facing slightly to left, wearing petasos. Rev. AINION Male goat standing right; to lower right, crested Corinthian helmet; all within incuse square. AMBG II, 328. HGC 3.2, 1278. May, Ainos, 411 var. (A242/-). Rare. A beautiful coin of fine classical style. Light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
