ISLAMIC, Persia (Post-Mongol). Safavids. 'Abbas I, AH 995-1038 / AD 1587-1629. Heavy Ashrafi (Gold, 17 mm, 3.90 g), type B, Herat, without date. Album 2629. A very rare mint for 'Abbas I. Minor scuffs and with light areas of weakness, otherwise, about extremely fine.
