ISLAMIC, Caucasus (Pre-Seljuq). Volga-Bulgarians. Anonymous. Dirham (Silver, 26 mm, 2.54 g), an anonymous Volga Bulgar imitation of a Samanid Dirham, uncertain mint, circa AH 307-AD 349 = AD 920s-960s. Album Q1481. An interesting imitation of particularly wild style. Very fine.
