ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Al-Muqtadir, second reign, AH 296-317 / AD 908-929. Dinar (Gold, 24 mm, 4.15 g, 12 h), citing the caliph al-Muqtadir billah and the heir Abu'l-Abbas, Madinat al-Salam, AH 301 = AD 913/4. Benardi 242JH var. (date not listed). An extremely rare date not recorded by Bernardi. A beautiful, well struck and clear example. Extremely fine.
