Cn. Blasio Cn.f, 112-111 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.91 g, 6 h), Rome. CN BLASIO CN F Helmeted head of Mars to right; behind head, acrostolium; above, star. Rev. Jupiter standing facing, holding scepter in his right hand and thunderbolt in his left; to left, Juno standing front, holding scepter in her right hand and looking toward Jupiter; to right, Minerva standing front, head to left, crowning Jupiter with a wreath and holding spear in her left hand; in inner right field, palm frond; in exergue, eagle standing front, head to left, flanked by RO-MA. Babelon (Cornelia) 20. Crawford 296/1i. RBW -. Sydenham 561e. Struck from somewhat worn dies and with minor scratches, otherwise, very fine.

From an American collection of Roman Republican and Imperatorial coins, acquired from Calicó (with collector's ticket).
