HUNGARY. Ludwig I, 1342-1382. Goldgulden (Gold, 22 mm, 3.55 g, 3 h), Buda. ✠LODOHICI D G R HNGhARIE Arms of Hungary-Anjou in tressure with six arches. Rev. SANTVS LADISLAVS R St. Ladislaus standing facing, nimbate and crowned, holding halberd in his right hand, mintmark P and seven lis (3 - 4) at his sides. Friedberg 5. Huszár 514. Lengyel 8/1E. Pohl B41. A beautiful example, sharply struck and unusually well preserved. Extremely fine.
