ARABIA, Southern. Himyar. 'Amdān Bayān Yahaqbiḍ, circa 100-120 AD. Unit (Silver, 15 mm, 1.58 g, 9 h), Raydan. Male head to right with hair in long ringlets; above, 𐩺. Rev. 𐩧𐩺𐩵𐩬 / 𐩲𐩣𐩵𐩬 𐩨𐩺𐩬 (''mdn byn / rydn' in South Arabian Script) Male head to right with hair in long ringlets; behind, monogram; before, 'scepter'. Huth 427. Somewhat brushed, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
