NORTHEAST GAUL. Mediomatrici (?). 2nd century BC. Quarter Stater (Gold, 11 mm, 2.07 g), imitating Philip II of Macedon. Devolved male head to right. Rev. Rider on horseback to right. DT -, cf. 46 (types to left). Obolos 1 (2015), 17 var. (obverse type to left and of differing style) and corr. (erroneous reference, should be DT 46A). Extremely rare. Struck from worn dies and with a minor scrape on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
