NORTHEAST GAUL. Ambiani. Circa 60-30 BC. Stater (Gold, 18 mm, 6.28 g), 'statère uniface' type. Blank convex surface. Rev. Celticized horse galloping to right, horseman transformed into fibula-like figure; around, crescents and pellets; below, ornamented ground line. DT 239. LT 8710. SLM 289-290. Extremely fine.
