NORTHWEST GAUL. Durocassi. Circa 50-30 BC. Cast unit (Potin, 18 mm, 3.13 g, 9 h), 'type de Bû'. Celticized male head to left, with hair ending in three long curls. Rev. Abstract horse, reduced to a horizontal volute with two crosses below; above, horseman reduced to an upward arc above cross; below, ground line with vertical striations. DT 2508. LT -. Cleaning marks and with a flan fault on the reverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
