Description

MACEDON. Eion. Circa 470-460 BC. Trihemiobol (Silver, 11 mm, 0.79 g). Goose standing right, head left, on decorated base; above, lizard left; Θ to lower left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. SNG ANS 273-4. A charming example of beautiful style. Minor scuff on the reverse , otherwise, good very fine.
