★ An extremely rare quinarius of Ninno ★

CELTIC, Central Europe. Rauraci. Circa 50-30 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 12 mm, 1.65 g, 10 h). [NI]NNO (retrograde) Draped bust of youthful male to left, with wing in his hair. Rev. Forepart of horse to left; before, palm-shaped ornament; below, circlet within star. DT -. Nick p. 55. LT 9345 var. (different symbols). SLM -. Extremely rare. A well struck and nicely toned example. The obverse somewhat off center , otherwise, about extremely fine.

From the Helvetii Collection, formed in the 1970s and 1980s.
