★ A very rare quinarius from the Helvetii ★
CELTIC, Central Europe. Helvetii. Mid 1st century BC. Quinarius (Silver, 12 mm, 1.88 g), 'Büschelquinar'. Palmette made from eight curved leaves connected by a central line ornamented with pellets; above, crescent. Rev. Celticized horse prancing to left; below, ornament. Nick p. 86, D2. SLM -. Very rare. Somewhat rough , otherwise, good very fine.
