CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Aulerci Cenomani. 2nd century BC. 1/4 Stater (Electrum, 12 mm, 1.71 g, 7 h). Celticized head of Apollo to right. Rev. Celticized charioteer, in chariot drawn by a human-headed horse to right, holding a rectangular standard on a rope ending before the horse's head; below horse, lying figure. DT 2157. LT 6861. A well struck and clear example. Light die wear on the reverse as usual and with some minor marks , otherwise, very fine.
