★ An extremely fine quinarius of Togirix ★

CELTIC, Central Gaul. Sequani. Circa mid 1st century BC. Quinarius (Silver, 13 mm, 2.00 g, 1 h), Togirix. TOGI[RIX] Celticized head of Roma to left. Rev. [T]OGIR[IX] Horse springing left; below, [serpent]. DT 3250. LT 5550. A beautifully toned and unusually complete example. Extremely fine.

From the Helvetii Collection, formed in the 1970s and 1980s.
