★ A very rare quinarius from the Lemovices ★
CELTIC, Central Gaul. Lemovices. Circa 100-50 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 13 mm, 2.15 g, 7 h). Male head to right. Rev. Horse prancing left; above, head with ponytail to left; below, pellet-in-circlet. DT -, cf. 3416 (with head to left). LT -, cf. 4561 (horse to right). A very rare variety. About extremely fine.
