AKARNANIA. Leukas. Circa 375-350 BC. Stater (Silver, 26 mm, 8.56 g, 1 h). Pegasos flying left; below, Λ. Rev. Λ-Ε-Υ Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet, surrounded by three ivy leaves. BCD Akarnania -. Calciati 74. HGC 4, 822. Very rare. A beautiful piece struck on excellent silver and with a spectacular reverse. Light doubling on the obverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
