ISLAMIC, Arabia. Sulayhids. 'Ali ibn Muhammad, AH 439-473 / AD 1047-1081. Dinar (Electrum, 21 mm, 2.11 g, 10 h), a local imitation, possibly struck in Ethiopia or Eritrea for trade with the Sulayhids, 'Zabid', date illegible. Album 1075.3. Minor graffito on the obverse and with a few scratches, otherwise, fine.
