ΥΠΑΤΟC B Mount Argaios surmounted by statue of Sol-Helios standing front, holding globe in his right hand and long scepter in his left. Cf. Ganschow 213a (for the type in silver). A very unusual and highly interesting piece. Somewhat rough and with two edge cracks, otherwise, good fine.

This interesting piece was struck from drachm dies on a much larger bronze flan, serving perhaps as a trial issue.
