LOWER DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. Circa 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 6.99 g, 6 h), 'Sattelkopfpferd' type, imitating Philip II of Macedon. Celticized head to right. Rev. Celticized horse with heavily stylized rider prancing left. Dembski 1225. Flesche -. Lanz 622. OTA 303/6. Struck from worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
