ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Uncertain period, temp. al-Saffah to al-Amin. AH 132-199 = AD 749-813. Fals (Bronze, 17 mm, 1.70 g, 9 h), citing Amr ibn Isa and Abd-Allah ibn Zayd, Hims, without date, struck in the late 2nd century AH. Album 177. About very fine.
From a Swiss collection of Umayyad and Abbasid coins, assembled in the 1970-1980s (with original flip with S. Album’s description).
