Citing the vizier al-Fadl and al-Ma'mun, the brother of the caliph al-Amin, as 'al-Amir' ('Commander'), as Wali 'ahd al-Muslimin ('successor of the covenant of the Muslims' in Kufic) and as ibn Amir al-Mu'minin ('son of the Commander of the Faithful' in Kufic). SICA III, 498. Lustrous and very attractive. The flan slightly wavy and with a minor die break on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
