Dirham (Silver, 23 mm, 2.93 g, 10 h), citing the heir apparent al-Ma'mun as Wali 'ahd al-Muslimin ('successor of the covenant of the Muslims' in Kufic) and as ibn Amir al-Mu'minin ('son of the Commander of the Faithful' in Kufic), Herat, AH 194 = AD 809/10. SICA III, 2063. Rare. Minor marks, otherwise, very fine.
