★ A rare Kidarite imitation from Taxila ★

This rare and interesting issue was probably struck in Taxila during the Kidarite occupation of the city in circa 390. The Kidarites were a belligerent Hunnic tribe that were dreaded both by the Sasanians in the west and the Gupta Empire in the East.
