CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 325-280 BC. Diobol (Silver, 11 mm, 1.12 g, 6 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three rosettes on the bowl; behind neck guard, M. Rev. TAPANTIΩN Herakles kneeling right, strangling the Nemean Lion. HN Italy 976. Vlasto 1372. Struck from a somewhat worn reverse die, otherwise, good very fine.
