NORTHEAST GAUL. Mediomatrici (?). 2nd century BC. 1/4 Stater (Gold, 11 mm, 2.07 g), imitating Philip II of Macedon. Devolved male head to right. Rev. Rider on horseback to right. DT -, cf. 46 (types to left). Obolos 1 (2015), 17 var. (obverse type to left and of differing style) and corr. (erroneous reference, should be DT 46A). Extremely rare. Struck from worn dies and with a minor scrape on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
