SICILY. Katane. Circa 415/3-404 BC. Tetras or Trionkion (Bronze, 14 mm, 1.64 g, 10 h). ΑΜΕΝΑΝΟΣ Horned head of the river-god Amenanos to left; behind, ivy leaf. Rev. K-A Winged thunderbolt; around, three pellets (mark of value). CNS III, 1. HGC 2, 607. SNG ANS 1272. A beautiful coin with a lovely olive green patina. Extremely fine.
