Jovian, 363-364. Solidus (Gold, 21 mm, 4.44 g, 12 h), Thessalonica, 27 June 363-16 February 364. D N IOVIA-NVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Jovian to right. Rev. SECVRITAS REI PVBLICE / ✱TES• Jovian, in military attire, standing front, head to left, holding labarum in his right hand and globe in his left; before him, captive seated left, looking up. Depeyrot 20/1. RIC 229. Very rare. Nearly extremely fine.
