'bago oaraurano oazorko košano šauo' ('His Majesty, Bahram, Great King of the Kushan' in Bactrian) / 'baxlo' ('Balkh' in Bactrian) Bahram I standing front, head to left, wearing a crenellated crown with a globe on top between two broad horizontally-pleated ribbons and holding trident in his left hand; to left, trident above small altar; to right, tamgha. Rev. 'borzaoando iazado' ('The illustrious God' in Bactrian) Shiva standing facing, holding diadem in his right hand and trident in his left; behind, the bull Nandi, his companion, standing left.
