LUCANIA. Herakleia. Circa 281-278 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 20 mm, 7.76 g, 7 h). Head of Athena facing three-quarters to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet decorated with a two-tailed Skylla on the bowl and necklace, and with her hair flowing loose; to left, monogram of HPA. Rev. [ՒHPAK]ΛEIΩN Herakles standing facing, leaning with his right hand on club set on ground and holding bow and lion skin in his left; to left, Nike flying right to crown him; in field to right, ΦΙΛΩ.
