★ A very rare half stater from the Aulerci Eburovices ★
CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Aulerci Eburovices. Late 2nd to first half of 1st century BC. Half Stater (Electrum, 18 mm, 3.16 g, 2 h), 'au sanglier' type. Celticized male head to left, with a boar standing left at the neck. Rev. Celticized horse galloping to left with stylized horseman above; below, boar standing left. DT 2406. Flesche 199. LT -. Very rare with the reverse type to the left. A well struck and unusually complete example. Good very fine.
