Crispus, Caesar, 316-326. Follis (Bronze, 20 mm, 2.76 g, 12 h), Treveri, 323. IVL CRIS-PVS NOB C Helmeted and cuirassed half-length bust of Crispus to left, holding horse by bridle with his right hand and shield on his left arm. Rev. BEATA TRAN-QVILLITAS / •STR(crescent) Globe set on altar inscribed VO/TIS / XX; above, three stars. http://www.notinric.lechstepniewski.info/7tri-402_h.html ( same dies ). RIC -. Of the highest rarity, apparently the second known example. Slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
