MESOPOTAMIA. Hatra. Pseudo-autonomous issue, early-mid-2nd century AD. AE (Bronze, 17 mm, 2.86 g, 11 h). Radiate head of the sun god Shamash to right. Rev. Eagle, wings spread, standing right on branch. Slocum Series 2. Walker -. Rare and unusually attractive. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
