SYRIA, Decapolis. Gadara. Macrinus, 217-218. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 13.94 g, 12 h). ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΟΠ CЄ ΜΑΚΡЄΙΝΟC CЄ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Macrinus to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΔHMAPX ЄΞ YΠA Π Π Eagle with spread wings standing facing, head to left and holding wreath in beak; between the eagle's legs, the Charites (the Three Graces) standing within laurel wreath. Prieur 1610. Very rare, Prieur knew just two examples. The obverse a bit weak, otherwise, good very fine.
