INDIA, Post-Gupta (Nepal). Lichchhavis. Amshuvarman, 605-621. AE (Bronze, 26 mm, 12.94 g, 8 h). SRI YAMSHUVARMA ('Lord Amshuvarman' in Brahmi) Winged lion standing left, raising right foreleg. Rev. Winged lion standing left, raising right foreleg; above, crescent. Rhodes, The Coinage of Nepal, 21-23. An attractive example. Very fine.

Amshuvarman was the Chief Minister of King Sivadeva, whom he succeeded as King in 605.
