INDIA, Post-Mauryan (Deccan). Anonymous cast coinage. 2nd-1st century BC. AE (Bronze, 22 mm, 8.15 g), Andhra region, circa 200 BC. Crescent above three-arched hill; all within linear circle. Rev. Voided cross flanked by crescents-above-pellets; above and below, fish. Extremely rare and of great interest. Good very fine.

This issue is sometimes associated with Taxila, but it is most probably a local issue from the Andhra region.
