CYPRUS. Salamis. Evagoras I, circa 411-374 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 10.65 g, 11 h). [𐠁𐠄𐠲𐠍𐠦] ('e-u-wa-ko-ro' in Cypriot syllabic script) Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. 𐠩EY-𐠧𐠞𐠪𐠐𐠃 ('pa-si-le-wo-se' in Cypriot syllabic script) He-goat with long horns and beard recumbent right on dotted ground line; above, grain of barley. Masson & Amandry II.B.a var. (differing reverse legend). Tziambazis 113. The obverse corroded, otherwise, good very fine.
