★ Extremely rare and with a particularly attractive obverse ★

CELTIC, Middle Danube. Uncertain tribe. 2nd-1st centuries BC. Drachm (Silver, 14 mm, 2.26 g, 1 h), 'Kugelwange' type. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right; on cheek, triskeles-shaped ornament. Rev. Celticized horse prancing left; above, pellet-in-annulet; below tail, pellet. Dembski -. Flesche -. Lanz -. OTA -. Rauch Auction 94 (2014), 139. Extremely rare and with a particularly attractive obverse. The reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, good very fine.
