CELTIC, Middle Danube. Uncertain tribe. 2nd-1st centuries BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 22 mm, 11.92 g, 2 h), 'Pegasos' type. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. Celticized pegasus of griffin-like appearance prancing left. Dembski -. Flesche -. Lanz 461. OTA 191/3 ( same dies ). Rare. Struck from a somewhat worn reverse die and with minor scratches on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
