Description
ISLAMIC, Anatolia & al-Jazira (Post-Mongol). Eretnids. 'Ala al-Din Eretna, AH 736-753 / AD 1336-1352. Dirham (Silver, 20 mm, 1.71 g, 11 h), citing 'al-Sultan al-'Adil' in Uygur, Baybirt, AH 747 = AD 1346/7. Album 2320.2. Nicely toned. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
The Eretnids were the successors of the Ilkhanids in central Anatolia.
