★ A very rare drachm from Gaza ★

PHILISTIA (PALESTINE). Gaza. Mid 5th century-333 BC. Drachm (Silver, 14 mm, 3.86 g, 5 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. AΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig; all within incuse square. Gitler & Tal V.25D. Very rare. Somewhat porous and with a die break on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
