LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 540-510 BC. Nomos (Silver, 28 mm, 8.23 g, 12 h). MET Ear of barley with eight grains; around, border of dots. Rev. Ear of barley with eight grains, all incuse; rayed border. HN Italy 1459. Noe Class I, 19. Beautifully toned. Slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
