CELTIC, Central Europe. Vindelici. 1st century BC. 1/4 Stater (Gold, 13 mm, 1.59 g), 'Rolltier' type. Convex surface with a dragon-like animal with the body of a serpent ('Rolltier') rolled up to left. Rev. Three lyre-shaped volutes arranged around central pellet; all within shallow incuse.
