Order of Our Lady of Villa Vicosa
An important early, embroidered mantel Star of complex work, 205x167 mm, made with gold and silver threads and wire of different types, sequines, pressed sheet-silver and silk; the cross on top of the upper crown, missing; the reverse, with original paper backing, reinforced with (easily removable) tissu-non-tissé fabric.
An imposing piece of great rarity and appearance, dating to the creation of the Order in 1818; very fine condition. I- RR!
