Military Order of the Cross of Vytis
A breast badge of the order, 47x25 mm, in Silver, the obverse with hexagonal,
red enameled centre medallion with the Lithuanian Knight; the reverse
with inscription “1918 XI 23”, “N.” and a raised, horizontal line, above
which the award number “27” is engraved. Below, jeweller’s “I G“ and
800 silver mark; upper, round loop ad horizontal, ribbon bar, the centre,
decorated with stylized laurel leaves; original ribbon with two three-pointed stars.
An extremely rare award of this short-lived, important order; excellent
condition. I RR!
