of the Saint, within the outer circlet with the order’s motto; smooth reverse, with vertical pin; in the original, red morocco fitted case of issue, with the
Ducal crown embossed in gold on the lid; the inner cushion, with maker’s mark of Rothe, Vienna.
A beautifully executed, rare star, dating before the fall of the Tuscan state and the austrian exile; excellent condition and beautiful, dark patina.
