A grand Officer’s set: neck badge, 61x35 mm, in gilt Silver, with red enameled latin
cross, flanked by white enameled St. Andrew cross and beams; centre
medallion with the image of St. Andrew; outer circlet with greek inscription
”ATHENAGORAS OECUMENIC PATRIARCH”; smooth reverse with frosted finish and Greek inscription; hinged, patriarch’s crown, ribbon ring and original, neck ribbon with ties; breast star,81 mm, with silver rays and applied cross
of the order, similar to the neck badge; concave, polished reverse with broad pin (struck with the maker’s mark of Kelaides) and two side-hooks; in the original, fitted case of issue covered of red paper imitating morocco;
the lid, with gold embossed coat-of-arms.
A very rare religious order, excellent condition and fine patina. I RR!
