Bound extract from Studia Hellenistica 16 (Louvain: Université catholique de Louvain, 1968). 8vo, later tan quarter morocco with brown sides; spine with two raised bands, lettered in black; brown endpapers. (181)–190 pages; 2 halftone plates; binder’s leaves added for bulk. Fine. An important article, given the full BCD binding. Discusses the use of the temple pylon as an architectural feature on large bronze Alexandrine coins from Trajan to Marcus Aurelius.
