Three volumes, complete, as bound in two. 4to, later matching crimson pebbled cloth-backed tan linen; spines ruled and lettered in gilt; original printed front card cover of final part bound in. x, 150, xxx + iv, 132, xxviii + (2), 2, 111, xxix, 18, (2) pages; titles printed in red and black, each with a fine medallic illustration; over 2300 listings. Third part heavily annotated in German in pencil; minor annotations to first two parts. Trimming slightly affects some annotations. Near fine. One of 400 sets printed. Bramsen's extensive collection was acquired by Dr. Paul Julius. Clain-Stefanelli 14507*: "The best reference on Napoleonic medals." Grierson 262. Modesti 415: "Opera fondamentale per la conoscenza della medaglistica napoleonica, di cui rappresenta veramente un caposaldo indispensabile a chi si occupa della materia..."
